Our
first Unit of Inquiry is about patterns and cycles in our daily life. Children are exploring: relations between natural patterns and daily life
patterns, changes in nature and patterns that we find in nature and in daily
life.

UNIT OF INQUIRY - HOW THE WORLD WORKS
We are beginning to introduce different life cycles.
We would like to invite pupils to bring caterpillars, tadpoles or seeds that they can observe them throughout their learning experience. If you happen to come across either one of the above mentioned, please do send them with your child to school. It will enrich their learning.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
We would like to thank all parents who have followed all the steps below to start the year in an organised manner.
1. UNIFORMS
Parents please remember to LABEL all your child’ s
clothing including tennis shoes, socks, and toys to avoid losing them!
2. AUTHORISATIONS
Just a reminder that we require NEW authorisations each
year. Anyone picking your child up
from school needs to have an authorisation in the diary with a copy of their
ID.
3. PILLOWS
PYP 1 pupils have a daily resting period after lunch and require small
labeled pillows which will be sent home weekly to be washed.
4. DIARIES
Each child has received an individual diary that goes home daily in his/her folder inside the bag. This is our MAIN source of communication so we would appreciate that you check their folder daily as you might find a note inside. So parents, keep an eye open!
