Eat A Rainbow

PYP 1
pupils are being encouraged to eat a variety of food in order
to have a balanced diet.
We will continue reading child friendly books about eating habits, such as "I will not ever never eat a tomato" by Lauren Child.
If you have any related books at home, please encourage your child to bring and share with friends. Also, if any of you are a nutritionist, please talk to your child's class teacher about visiting the class and
talking about food and healthy diet.
Encouraging healthy habits can be simple and fun.
Here are some websites that might help you at home.

Collaborative Picnic - Monday 9th
PYP 1 Collaborative Picnic

On Thursday, May 5th, PYP 1 pupils had a special picnic! They were invited to bring a healthy portion of food to share among themselves. They are now investigating "humans are constantly changing" and reflecting about their growth and developing their independence skills. They were encouraged to think about what is healthy and chose what they would like to bring to share with others.
