Unit 2: People use and create tools to solve problems.

Dear Parents,

We have started our second Unit of Inquiry. Students are being led into an inquiry about how people use and create tools to solve problems. Children are welcome to bring different tools they can find at home (tools used in the kitchen, bathroom, garden, swimming pool) or when practicing sports. The aim of this activity is to spark their interest about tools and their uses and how they help us in our daily lives.           

We would also like to invite parents to come and share some of the tools used in their work or hobbies. Please contact your class teacher if you would be willing to participate, so the necessary arrangements can be made.

Unit 1: Patterns and Cycles

We had a successful Unit on Patterns and Cycles. Children got really engaged by the different activities throughout this first Unit. Check out some pictures of the activities, boards and learning opportunities that triggered their inquiry. We would also like to thank all parents and families who contributed in some way to make this Unit even better. 

 

 

FIRST SCHOOL OUTING – CHECK IT OUT!

As a part of our Unit of Inquiry, children had their first school outing to the “Aquário de São Paulo" in order to observe different animals and patterns in nature.
